Ipe Oil Hardwood Finish
Easy Application Exceptional Results Ipe Oil - Hardwood Deck Finish is an oil-based natural wood finish. It is specifically formulated to protect and preserve the natural beauty of exterior hardwood decks. Ipe Oil - Hardwood Deck Finish provides excellent penetration of even the densest hardwoods with minimal raising of the grain. It protects and conditions the wood while maintaining a completely natural appearance. For exceptional results on Ipe, Tigerwood, Cumaru and other exotic hardwoods, we offer Ipe Oil for great results.
Ipe Seal End Grain Sealant
Ipe Seal from DeckWise is a wax emulsion sealer proven to increase the structural integrity of hardwood decking. Designed to prevent end checking (drying splits) in freshly sawn logs, lumber, turning blanks, and other exposed wood end and face grain. Ipe Seal creates a bond that extends the life of each deck board. One quart of end sealer covers approximately 500 ftsq (46 m2) of decking. It is highly recommended that end grain cuts are protected in order to prevent checks and splits. Due to differences in wood species, variety of climatic conditions, and an individual's usage methods; results are NOT guaranteed. The sooner our sealer is applied to exposed end grain (and face grain of turnings and carvings), the more effective the coating will be. Application is recommended to the wood within 24hrs of cutting.
Cleaner and Brightener
When it comes to building your deck, you want it to last a long time, and want the natural wood color to show. However, with time, wood decking gets dirty and loses its’ luster and natural hardwood appeal. DeckWise Wood Deck Cleaner (Part 1) and Brightener (Part 2) remove dirt and graying in preparation for re-oiling and applying finishes such as Ipe Oil. These concentrated powders are formulated specially to cleanse and brighten exterior wood decks, wood fences, patios, terraces, wood siding, benches, chairs, and other outdoor wood items.
